ART CLASSES
We offer regular art classes for beginners and practicing artists alike, where we teach the fundamentals of drawing and painting. With expert guidance and regular demonstrations you will experiment with a wide range of mediums, techniques & subject matter.
Classes are friendly, supportive and relaxed, feedback is individually focused with no ‘right’, ‘wrong’ or ‘expected’ outcome, but rather a goal of individual development and original expression. I also host a number of workshops.
Beginners classes are held on a Monday Morning, Intermediate classes on a Monday Afternoon. Both take place in my home studio: Campion Art Studio in Leamington Spa.

This Term’s Classes (March / April )
Location: Campion Art Studio, 31 Campion Terrace, Leamington Spa, CV32 4SU
Level 1: Beginners
Time: 10am-12pm
Date: Monday mornings: 27 April, 4 May, 11 May, 18 May 2026 (4 week term)
Cost: £88 (for short 4 week term)
These classes are aimed at those that want to learn drawing and painting at a gentle, guided pace with lots of help and encouragement, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Through each project you will learn stage by stage how to build your painting and drawing skills.
You will be introduced to a wide selection of art materials, including pencil, charcoal, pastels, oil pastels, watercolour, acrylics, and more.
The projects covered will cover the first steps and essentials needed to build a broad understanding of: Drawing, Painting, Materials & colour theory.

· A selection of brushes.
· A selection of artist quality paints.
· A Canvas, Board or Paper to suit your medium.
· A palette knife. A paper palette and a box to take your work home in.
· A roll of paper towel
· An Apron
· A colour photograph / Photo on an IPAD from which to work
· Acrylics only: A stay wet palette
· Oils only: a jar with a lid, low odour thinners for cleaning brushes.
