How do I go about commissioning a painting?

Please send any photos of the pet you would like painting in high resolution to maintain their quality. Choose which size you would like your painting to be and we can take it from there.

12” x 12” £160 £220 —

Can I give the commission as a gift voucher?

Yes, purchasing a gift voucher allows the recipient choose the photo they would like me to work from, it is also good if it is a last minute gift! The gift voucher will be emailed to you so that you can either print it out to give to the recipient or forward it to them by email. They can then contact me directly.

Can I have more than one animal in a painting?

Yes, though I will need to work bigger to accommodate them. The reference photo must include both/ all animals together in the same photo.

Can I choose the style / background colour of my painting?

Please let me know if there a picture in the gallery you particularly like the style of. Also, if you have an idea you would like to try for the background please let me know. Backgrounds that are more than just a single graduated colour will need to be quoted on separately. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

What surface will my painting be painted on?

I paint on ‘Ampersand smooth primed panels’ 3mm thick...the brushstrokes sit on it and have clean crisp edges (they would blend more on canvas). Also, because it’s thin you can frame it easily either behind glass or with no glass.

Can I see my painting before I pay for it?

Yes, absolutely. I will send you a photo of it by email to check that you are happy with it before posting.

How and when do I pay for it?

Half of the payment is required by BACS on placing the order and the other half when it is completed. If, for whatever reason you are unhappy with your artwork, your payment is fully refundable.

How long till I receive my painting?

I hope to complete your painting within 2-3 weeks but bear in mind that it may need a little extra time to dry. If you would like it posting abroad this may also take longer.
