MORE LIFE DRAWING

The 4/7 drawings that just about survived the bin after last nights life drawing class…#RUSTY

It’s always interesting to look around the room at other peoples drawings at the end of a pose. Start far left and see how the figure morphs like an animation as you move around the room. As you can imagine - the person on the far right here had a very different, much more foreshortened angle than me - you take what you get and just do your best!

Constantly shifting your gaze back and forth and translating what you are seeing onto the page is quite tiring, but also all consuming and very medatitive at the same time! Good practice…must do more!

25 Minutes Pastel on paper. Upper body profile like a snowy mountain panorama with some glacial blues underneath. Hair & face turned out pretty well and, as always, loving the hot pink!
